Performance
All of the 2025 Mazda CX-5 2.5 S trim levels are outfitted with the same powertrain. Under the hood, the four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine produces 187 horsepower. This gas-powered system includes a six-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. Off-Road and Sport drive modes are included with the 2.5 S Premium Plus.
Appearance
The design of the Mazda CX-5’s many trim levels is comparable, but there are a few minor differences in exterior features. The design is undeniably sophisticated yet sporty. It has gracefully sloped surfaces across the roof and a well-defined hood. The sides of the Mazda CX-5 are beautifully contoured with a downward trend leading toward the rear fender. The lean bumper is topped by a U-shaped grille. Thin, pointed LED headlights spin off the upper corners of the grill. The Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Preferred is equipped with a sunroof, a power liftgate, body-colored trim, and 17-inch gray wheels. The Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Premium Plus has these features and adds 19-inch wheels, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and a de-icer for the windshield wipers.

If you choose the Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Preferred, your crossover SUV will come with leather upholstery, driver’s memory settings, and heated front seats.
