In 2024, the Mazda CX-90 debuted as a three-row, midsize crossover SUV. In 2025, the new Mazda CX-70 will debut as a two-row variation of the Mazda CX-90. The 2025 Mazda CX-70 comes with your choice of a gas or plug-in hybrid powertrain system. As an all-new crossover in the Mazda lineup, the Mazda CX-70 has exciting features from bumper to bumper.
The impressive 2025 Mazda CX-70 is distinguished by its long, almost flat surfaces over the roof and hood. The smooth sides are enhanced with molded wheel haunches. The grille is broad on the nose with a chrome accent underscoring it. This band trends upward on the sides to touch the LED accent ribbon in the headlights. In addition, the 2025 Mazda CX-70’s front end boasts uniquely shaped, mesh-enhanced air vents.
The gas engine available with the 2025 Mazda CX-70 is a turbocharged inline-6, 3.3-liter system. It generates between 280 and 340 horsepower. The eight-speed automatic transmission can be moderated through paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. The plug-in hybrid engine has a 26-mile all-electric range, generating 323 horsepower. The Mazda CX-70 comes with Intelligent Drive Select, which gives you drive modes for off-road, EV, Towing, and Sport.
