In 2020, the subcompact Mazda CX-30 crossover joined the Mazda lineup as a sporty runabout with quality features and impeccable style. As you explore the latest Mazda CX-30 for your upcoming purchase, you may be eager to learn about the recent improvements made to the newest model year. You can rely on our supportive Classic Mazda associates to help you discover the standout traits between the 2023 and 2024 model years.

Performance

The most significant improvement to the 2024 Mazda CX-30 is the introduction of the Carbon Turbo trim level. This is a mid-level trim that takes its place between the Carbon Edition and Premium trims. The four-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbo, 250-horsepower engine exclusively power it. The other powertrain offered with the Mazda CX-30 is unchanged across the 2023 and 2024 model years. This is a 191-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine. All trims have all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission for both years.

Appearance

The new Carbon Turbo trim is exclusively available with black wheels and the new Zircon Sand paint. The 2023 Mazda CX-30 Select is now called the Select Sport in 2024. It adds black mirror caps, upgraded 18-inch wheels, and the new Ceramic Metallic body paint. Overall, the gorgeous design of the Mazda CX-30 holds steady between these model years. The sporty, raked profile combines with thick molding along the lower perimeter for an athletic look. Across the smooth sides, subtle, angled definition has a meaningful impact. At the front, a chrome bar surrounds the lower portion of the grille and the thin, ovular headlights.

Features

Inside the new Mazda CX-30 Carbon Turbo trim, you will find terracotta leather upholstery. The Select Sport trim adds a leather gear shifter, a leather steering wheel, black faux-leather seats, and a two-zone auto climate control system. The 2024 Mazda CX-30 now comes with a 10.3-inch infotainment system screen in higher trim levels. Some of the many features offered for the 2023 and 2024 Mazda CX-30 crossovers are parking sensors, traffic jam assist, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, a head-up display, paddle shifters, a power liftgate, heated front seats, a blind-spot warning, and several others.
